Keyhand does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

No data collection

The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It contains no networking code and never connects to the internet.

Keyboard

With your permission, macOS Accessibility access lets Keyhand notice its two shortcuts, and use the keys it needs only while its labels, grid or pointer keys are on screen. All other keys go straight to your apps. Key presses are handled as they happen and are never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Other apps

To place click labels, the app looks at the app in front and notes the type, position and size of things on screen that can be clicked (for example, "a button at this spot"). It does not read their text, what you type, or the contents of your documents. It clicks by sending the same events a mouse would.

Settings

Your preferences, such as speed and key bindings, are saved on your Mac in the app's own settings and never leave it.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It's hosted on Cloudflare, and its fonts load from Google Fonts.
